The Learning Center has moved to the Kemmerer Workforce Center
Located in the Burgoon Building in Diamondville

Don’t let a lack of skills prevent you from beginning a new job, from getting promoted, or from entering a college or technical training program. The Adult Learning Center invites you to check out the instruction available through their office, located in the Kemmerer Workforce Center.

Under the direction of Anita Edsall, assistance is available to help you improve your skills, whether you want to earn a GED, pass the Compass test, learn to speak or write English better, or become a U.S. citizen.

For your convenience, we offer open-entry classes and an open lab. Registered students can use our materials and can work in our classroom by Appointment.

U.S. Citizenship:
Are you, or is someone you know interested in preparing for the challenging U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Citizenship Exam? We offer instruction to help you with the forms, procedures, and preparation for the exam.

OPEN ENTRY CLASSES

Compass Placement Exam:
Do you need to improve your math and English skills so that you can place the college placement exam? We have excellent resources to refresh those skills and get you started into college properly.

GED Preparation:
This class is designed to prepare students for taking the GED tests. You can study each subject of the GED separately and receive individualized instruction at a time that fits your busy schedule.

Beginning Basic Education:
Would you like to upgrade your math, writing, reading, or spelling skills? This class will help you improve these skills for your own personal satisfaction for a job promotion.

English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL):
We offer beginning to advanced classes for people from other countries to develop or improve language skills, listening, speaking, reading and writing English. Individualized or group instruction is available.
