Phareodus

The Phareodus is easily recognized by its long pectoral fin, large pointed teeth and large median fins set close to the tail fin.  There are two species of Phareodus: One which can exceed 24 inches in length, and another that has an average size of approximately l5 inches.  The Phareodus is a spectacular fossil specimen.  Prices range up to $1000 for the smaller fish and are priced individually for those fish over 12".
