CS&T Inc. Internet Options Setup Instructions


These pages are for the exclusive use of the customers and clients of CS&T Internet Services.
Print out these help pages and save them for when you have problems with your system or service.
SlipStream Setup:
  • Click Here to Signup for SlipStream
  • Download the SlipStream client
  • Save the download to your desktop or other appropriate place (My Downloads)
  • Click Open button after download completes
  • Click Extract all files link, the extraction wizard will start
  • Click Next
  • Click Next
  • Click Finish the folder with the extracted filed will open
  • Double Click Setup
  • Click Run on the security warning, the install wizard will start
  • Click Next
  • Check ON the license agreement
  • Click Next
  • Click Finish
  • Close all open progarms and Click OK to restart your system
  • Type your SlipStream username in Username
  • Type your SlipStream password in Password
  • Check ON Save Password
  • Click OK
  • Run your Browser, you should get a message from SlipStream that it is connected to slipstream.vcn.com on port 7000
  • If you get a message to update the Slipstream client, do it
  • If SlipStream fails to connect check these settings
  • Click SlipStream Icon in task bar
  • Click Settings... menu item
  • Click Connection tab
  • Remove and retype SlipStream Username
  • Remove and retype SlipStream Password
  • Click Advanced button
  • Type slipstream.vcn.com in Remote Server Hostname dialog box
  • Type 7000 in Server Port dialog box
  • Type 5400 in Local Listening Port dialog box
  • Click OK
  • Adjust Image Quality and Features as you desire
  • Click OK
Mail Filtering Setup:
  • Click here to Signup for SPAM Filtering
  • Run your Browser
  • In the Address Bar type login.postini.com
  • Hit Enter on your keyboard
  • Type your e-mail address in login address dialog box
  • Type your e-mail password in Password dialog box
  • Click Login button
  • The Message Center page displays virus infected and SPAM mail that has been trapped
  • Click ON Check Box next to any mail you want delivered
    • Click Deliver button to deliver the mail
    • If you want that address saved to your Approved Sender List
      • Check ON Approve check box next to address
    • Click Continue button
  • To Delete all Messages click delete all messages in lower right, below message list
  • To adjust Junk Mail Settings click Junk Mail Settings link in upper left
    • Click ON button to turn on filtering
    • Click appropriate radio buttons for various filter settings
    • Click Save Changes button
  • To adjust Virus Settings click Virus Settings link in upper left
    • Click ON button to turn on Virus protection
    • Set desired Notifications message with notifications drop down menu items
    • Click Save Changes button
  • DO NOT change any settings in Account Settings link, this is auto verified with our mail server
