High Desert Mountain Bike Poker Run

Registration Fee: $15.00, nonrefundable, includes 5 cards and refreshments Additional cards available for $5 each (limit of 10)
Buy as many hands as you want for $15 each
Route: Approx. 22 miles; Starts at Herschler Triangle Park and finishes at Fossil Country Museum; route follows BLM roads and two-tracks. Six mile loop option ($10 for 4 cards) also available.
Restrictions: All participants are restricted to designated route. Anyone riding off trail will be immediately disqualified with no refund.
All participants must wear a helmet.
Poker Run Rules: Each rider must draw one card at each of five stations along the route. Participants may buy as many hands as they want for $15. Participants not riding may buy a hand if they have someone to ride the designated route for them. All eligible hands must go around the route on a bicycle. At the fifth stop, Fossil Country Museum, participants may purchase additional cards for $5 each (limit of 10 additional cards per hand). The rider holding the best poker hand at the completion of the run will take home a cash prize. All riders will be required to sign a waiver, and riders under 18 years of age must have the signature of a parent or guardian to participate. All participants must wear a helmet.

Waiver/Consent
I the undersigned, in consideration of my entry in the High Desert Mountain Bike Poker Run, do certify that I am physically fit and suitably trained to participate in said event. I agree to be bound by all rules of the race and decisions of the officials. I hereby, for myself, my child, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I or my child may have against Fossil Country Museum, the Kemmerer BLM Field Office or on behalf of any organization in whose building or grounds this activity is being held, and any instructors, directors, or persons of these organizations from any liability or injuries received or loss to person or property while participating in any activity sponsored by Fossil Country Museum. I understand that as a participant, I am not covered by Fossil Country Museum or BLM insurance while traveling to or participating in this activity. If the participant is a minor, I give my permission for his/her participation in this activity and for the instructors/supervisors to act on my behalf in case of a medical emergency.
